No man would approach Cu Chullain until a crow landed on his shoulder, only then could they be sure the great warrior was dead.

THE STORY

Dance of the Morrigan

The Morrigan is a goddess associated with death and while not an angel of death is a portent of death. She can take the form of a crow. As crows were something you saw on the battlefield they have in many cultures been associated with war and death.

My Morrigan dances herself into her crow form with a black feather cloak.
