A king and queen argue in bed over who is the wealthiest.  This results in a huge battle between two provinces in Ireland as she tries to take a bull that she has found in another kingdom.  (Spoiler alert!) The sub plot is that the two bulls are in fact shapeshifting wizards who have been fighting as many different animals for fun for hundreds of years but now they fight to the death.  The famous hero Cu Chullain ends up on opposite sides to his childhood friend Ferdia and they fight to the death.
